The Pleasant Climate of Nainital

The Climate of Nainital is cool and pleasant throughout the year but in winter is gets very cold. There is a reason behind it. In fact Nainital is located on the Gagar hill ranges which is next to Himalayas. There is a lot of rain so there is almost cold climate. This is a good place to visit especially in summer season.

The population of Nainital is increasing day by day because the tourists from all over the world come to visit here whole of the year. There are five seasons throughout the year. Naini Lake also helps to maintain the pleasant climate.

In the month of March and April there is a beautiful season to enjoy the natural beauty at its peak. The blossom of flowers and the chirping birds sound make the place more beautiful. This is the best time to visit here. There are also many neighboring places to visit such as; Ranikhet, Almora and Ramgarh. 

May and June are summer months but because of holidays the hotels and tourist houses are full at this time. People love to enjoy the climate by boating, riding fishing, Yachting and paddling. The nights and evenings of this place are comparatively cooler than other places.

In the month of July and August there is a good rain.  It seems that clouds are touching your feet and sometimes you will feel that you are in the midst of the clouds, the air which blows is very clear.  It is good to have an umbrella, raincoat and wind cheater with you while you are going there on this season.

The autumn season of Naintal will chill your face. This season is continued from September to November.  The nights are very cold in these days. But this is the good time to visit here especially for those who can tolerate the winter. It is good to have mufflers and caps with you.

In winters the temperature of this place 15 degree to 3 degree which compels the visitors to put on woolen clothes. From December to February there is snow all around the town. For snow lovers this is the best time to enjoy.

Nainital Sightseeing Places

Bhim Tal; this is situated near about twenty kilometer from Nainital. The famous temple of seventeenth century known as Bhimeshwar is located here.

It is an important tourist place and it is very easy to reach here either by railways or roads. It is located at the foothills of the Himalaya peaks.
