Nainital Tourism

India is famous for its natural beauty and the hill stations. One of the most beautiful hill stations in India is Nainital, located in the north region of the country. Nainital is connected with different modes of transport with the capital city of India, Delhi. Nainital is located in the Uttarakhand state and is surrounded by the Himalayan Mountains. The beautiful snow covered mountains attracts thousands of tourists to this hill station. Among the tourists attraction in Nainital, the most famous is the Jim Corbett national park. It is one of the oldest national parks of the country. The Jim Corbett national park offers tourist to see the rich wildlife of India in their natural habitat. It is helping in preserving the flora and fauna of the country.

Nainital is also known as the land of lakes as there are hundreds of lakes in this small hill station. The most famous lake is the Naini Lake. It is the center of attraction of the tourists mainly because of the boat ride. Also, it offers a great beautiful scene during the dawn to see the reflections of the thousands of the bulbs in the blue color water of the lake.

Bhimtal is situated at a short distance from the main Nainital and has the largest lake called as Bhimtal. The lake was named after the Bhima character of the Mahabharata. As compared to Nainital, there are fewer crowds in Bhimtal and also it is much cleaner than Nainital.

Another tourist attraction of Nainital is the Naina peak which was also known as the China peak. Naina peaks offer a great view of the natural beauty and the route to visit the Naina peak is surrounded by the forests which make the trip to the peak a must.

The Mall road offers a great view of the lake and it joins the two ends of the town. It runs parallel to the lake. The rope way or the cable car allows tourists to reach the top of the peaks and other tourist destinations from the ground in a short and easy way.
